We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Room Leader (Level 3 in early years childcare) to join our team in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a friendly team and develop their skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of nursery staff to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery room
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in your care
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs for children
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being
- Drive continuous improvement in the quality of childcare provided
- Oversee daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in English language
- A passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development
